Celebrating the 6th |

Last Monday 15th April, 2010 El Azhar University hosted the celebration of the 6th Pharmacists Day and it was organized by El Azhar Student's Union. The participants mainly were from MSA, El Azhar University, Ain Shams, Must and 6th October University. The celebration included different contests in poetry, story writing besides the scientific subjects.

That event was organized by Promise Family, who proves unprecedented exuberant effort this year as they collected poems from different pharmacy students then were revised and proof read by Mr. Mohamed Ismail the teacher assistant in Arabic Department, Faculty of Languages.
Mr. Mohamed Ismail selected two poems written by Ismail Mohamed and Iman El Khashab titled: "I'm an Orphan" which won the second placement in Poetry writing, and the other was "There was a Nation" to represent MSA in the event.

"The Ignored Gift" was another poem written by Ahmed Sonbol who participated in the competition. Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Farouk also contacted El Azhar Students' Union to arrange the event details.

Dr Mohamed Seif El Din Ashour, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy at MSA and former Dean of Pharmacy at El Azhar University was honoured in the celebration due to the enormous effort he exerted to develop education. A.L. Ahmed Farouk delivered a speech about Faculty of Pharmacy at MSA demonstrating the top notch highly equipped laboratories besides the validation from the British Universities.
