Attendance Requirement Contact between staff and students is the most effective method of learning. Class discussions and comments enhance students' understanding of the module content and give a new dimension to the learning experience. For these reasons, students are required to satisfying certain attendance requirements. Students who fail to attend 75% of all lectures and tutorials for a certain module are deprived from the final exam and automatically fail the module. Late arrivals disrupt the class and the students. Students are only allowed into the class during the first five minutes. Otherwise, they miss the class and are recorded as absent. During the midterm and final examination periods, students are allowed to step in during the first 15 minutes of the exam time. Students are dismissed from classes for insubordination or other disciplinary reasons they are not allowed to return to class until the Dean of Faculty and the President of MSA permit it. Students choose their majors according to rules and regulations of their respective faculties. Students may also choose a minor. Each faculty announces the minors offered and their respective requirements. Successful completion of the requirements of a minor appears on students' transcripts upon graduation. Students may, after successfully completing the requirements of a minor, register for another one. In this case, the student registers for those courses that are not included in his study of the first minor. Successful completion of both minors appears on the students' transcripts upon graduation.
