MSA Engineering Graduates Wins 1st Place, Represents Egypt in Italy

A group of architects, among them MSA Engineering graduates, has won the 1st place in the competition organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture to select Egypt's commissioner to be announced as the curators of Egypt's Pavillion in the Biennale Architecture 2016 organized in Venice, Italy.

Team members are Mostafa Salem (MSAian), Ahmad Hilal (MSAian), Eslam Al-Zenbaey (MSAian), Luca Borlenghi and Gabriele Secchi.With a project titled "Imperative Conforontations مواجهات حتمية" aimed at "reframing successful stories" that "need to be highlighted and worth to be known regardless of scale, typology or location." Mostafa Salem told Youm7 newspaper that archeticture is a powerful tool in affecting the spatial context in Egypt.He added that the group will exhibit 15 miniprojects of Egypt's archeticture in Venice.
