In our quest to expose our students to multi-cultural professional environments and modern techniques and methods, MSA has endorsed the knowledge-seeking, experience-hungry group of students to go to Italy and gain some first-hand knowledge from the leading minds in the field. The group was accompanied by our very own Dr. Bedour Ahmad and Eng. Heba Hussein as representatives of the education committee. The MULTINATIONAL CROSS-DISCIPLINARY DOCUMENTATION AND DESIGN WORKSHOP, ARCHITECTURE AND THE COMMON LIFE INTO THE TUSCANY LANDSCAPE was directed by: Iordanis Stylidis, Assistant Professor at the University of Thessaly – Greece. There was a total of 40 students participated from Egypt- Greece- Cyprus, MSA participated with 11 students who did a great job there, massive ideas of design were incorporated with their colleagues from other universities, which always preset the high level education that MSA architecture department. Beside the workshop, the students had a chance to explore the architecture heritage of Rome, Siena, Pisa and Florence; which have had a massive effect on the modern architecture studies. All in all, a great experience and a plentiful of knowledge was passed around and gained by all. Special thanks to Dr. Bedour Ahmad and Eng. Heba Hussein for their effort in making this a reality and thanks to all who work tirelessly to expose MSA students to new, unforgettable knowledge and experience.
