MSA book Fair opening celebration

MSA University has launched the first own book fair, attended the occasion Dr. Helmy Namnam, the minister of Culture, who cut the opening tape at the presence of Dr. Nawal El-Degwy, Prof. Khairy Abdelhamid, Mr. Ahmed El-Sayed El-Naggar, head of the board of trustees of Al-Ahram press institution, along with several elite names of authors, media people, artists, journalists and critics.

The opening was the preface of many activities offered by MSA’s Association of Writers led by the poet Ms Sherine El-Adawy, and the top three winners of the annual short story contest were honored and received laurels and prizes, and of course the reverent committee of judges, Prof. Salah Fadl, the great Arabic literature name Prof. Khairy Doma, and the great novelist Mr. Mekawy Said. A book was released containing all stories of all participants and was printed by AL-Ahram and presented to the university. The celebration was presented by Dr. gamal Hamad and a word of hospitality and gratitude was given by Dr. Nawal El-Degwy, also Ms Sherine El-Adawy thanked all the administrators of this pioneering project who took it upon themselves to discover new talents and offer patronage to them too, she also thanked the faculty of Art and Design represented in the dean Dr. Tarek Saleh, the faculty made the design of the collection of stories which, if anything, entails vision integration and mission congruence within the university. Activities of the fair will last until next week’s Thursday May 19, yesterday witnessed the students showing their poetic talents and today was the book signings. you still can get your favorite book till next Thursday !.
