The students enrolled in the course learned the applications of biotechnology in the industrial field through the field visits to several companies, where the students were given the advantage, to fully understand the processes needed to manufacture any commercial product. These visits were:
 

Furthermore, the students had the pleasure of meeting academic visitors from Delta Aromatics Company for fragrances and flavors, to acquaint and introduce them to their production lines. The students were requested to solve any problem they encountered with the industry or to enhance a certain phase, in order to improve the industry line in these companies by using the biotechnology techniques. Moreover, the students wrote down their proposals and also made fabulous poster presentations concerning their topics. Company representatives visited the faculty to judge the students ideas from the industrial concept.
