International Association for Dental Students holds its first General Assembly meeting at MSA

The International Association for Dental Students (IADS) has held its first General Assembly meeting for this year at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) with representatives of 7 public and private universities attending. MSA is the newest member in the IADS Egypt Charter, so the General Assembly started by welcoming MSA to the Association, then reviewing the achievements of the past academic year and the plan for the current year 2015/2016.

The membership allows MSA dentistry students to engage in an international community of dentists and researchers with educational and research opportunities, such as exchange programs with European universities tuition-free, as well as collaboration in scientific research and latest technologies.

The IADS committee, comprised entirely of MSA students, has a plan to reach out to MSA internal and external community through awareness campaigns, medical convoys to less privileged communities and science activities on and off-campus. It is noteworthy that MSA University started this year to provide Master’s program for dentistry graduates.
