As the Faculty of Dentistry is keen to upgrade and follow up its graduates in order to be always up to the market needs, Continuing Education Center under supervision of Prof.Dr.Faten Kamel Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry & Dr.Waleed Maryod head of the center organized a workshop targeting MSA alumni.
The faculty of Biotechnology held a workshop entitled “Applications of Stem Cells”. The day entailed several activities including guest speakers and a practical session; the main theme portrayed the notion of encouraging participants to further their learning and development in the processes and applications of stem cells.

The industrial projects students were given a unique experience. Where the Chairman and CEO of Delta Aromatics Mr. Omar Abdelreheem and Mr. Joachuin Lanz provided a lecture on the world of aromatics including perfumery, flavoring, food coloring and essential oils in general.
The faculty of Biotechnology held a session for the Systems Biology. The session was given by research assistant Mr. Ali Kishk who discussed several concepts into using computational structures for biological applications and systems biology methods in Malaria resistance.
The students attended a marketing lecture by the the external communication director Ms Passant Fouad. She talked about how Juhayna is handling competition in the egyptian market and in the foreign one. Also, she talked about some statistics related to the brand loyalty for some international brands in Egypt.
On Friday the 10th of March 2018, MSA Science club in cooperation with its NGO Partner Vitiea and Its branch Cairo university Science club branch, have jointly lunched its second contribution in the Egyptian Science week with a creative event. The event entitled “The Mystery of Circles” is a science communication and awareness event with a unique concept based on combining social skills development and behavior with Science delivery through games and inspiration. The event organization and the idea is accredited to Vitiea org. Under the chairmanship of Professor Hafez A Radi and his deputy, Dr. Said Mabrouk, the conference presented scientific research to 18 researchers from the faculty as well as 4 invited speakers from outside the university.
The Science club was invited to be a field partner to the Egyptian Science Week. A prestigious scientific awareness event that occurs every year sponsored by the highest ranks scientific entities among them Nature Arabia, Scientific American, IEEE and academic partners like Jameel Foundation, AUC and NTRA. The science club have presented its first contribution through a project/presentation skills workshop on Wednesday 7th of March that started at 1:00 pm and ended at 5:00 pm.
The Biotechnology students visited the "Plant Protection Research Institute" as part of an activity to the "Host Plant Resistance" elective course. The students got the tremendous opportunity to listen to lectures given by the Chairman of the institute.

MSA University - Faculty of Management sciences signed a protocol agreement with The Chamber of Information Technology and communications to make use of MIS (Management Information System) graduation projects in developing new software programs for the Egyptian market and export. Also, the cooperation extends to include training, consulting works, research, field training and job opportunities for students and graduates.
The Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Modern Sciences and Arts was held on February 25, 2018 in the Student Services Building under the patronage of Professor Nawal Al-Degwi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University, Professor Khayri Abdul Hamid, President of the University, and Professor Nahed Sobhi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. The Faculty of Languages, MSA University hosted the award winning American writer Akhil Sharma who gave an enjoyable and insightful talk entitled “On the Duty to Tell the Truth” on Tuesday, Feb 20th, 2018 in the Cinema Hall- SSB at 11:30am. Sharma is on a short visit to Egypt to participate in the annual round of Cairo Festival for Literature which started on the 17th of February till Feb 22nd, 2018.
MSA Science club have arranged its second annual visit to 57357 CCHE as part of the awareness partnership between the club and the institution. The visit included 200 students from all 9 faculties and few young staff members. On arrival we were welcomed with a big welcoming screen and banner at the entrance of 57357 honoring the MSA students and MSA Science club.
In the framework of the continuous partnership and cooperation between MSA University and the Universities of Greenwich and Bedfordshire, MSA welcomed delegations from both Universities to review & evaluate all of the projects, modules, and exams of the past semester.

Senior students of the Faculty of Languages, MSA University celebrated their “Graduation Projects Day” in the Students’ Services Building (SSB) on the 17th of January, 2018. The graduation projects of the students revolved around three different fields of study/ majors offered at the Faculty of Languages: Translation, Executive Skills, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).
Our students at the Faculty of Biotechnology just got a chance to go on a fieldtrip to the technological unit for dairy products at the Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University in Giza. The aim of the visit was first to get acquainted with the manufacturing processes of making cheese, custard, rice pudding and yogurt as well as deriving inspiration for a biotechnological venture aimed at solving any challenges faced by the unit during manufacturing or improving one of their pre-existing products.
