Dr. Ahmed Gomaa also enumerated the different research projects currently carried out by the RDI group at the Faculty of Biotechnology as well as the start-ups and patents that were accelerated by the RDI group.

The second session was led by Dr. Fayez Fouda, CEO of scienology association company. The session entailed the different applications of biotechnology in the realm of cosmetics, as well as the basics of product formulation and testing.

Dr. Fayez Fouda also performed a demo on how to make DIY cosmetics as an enrichment activity.
