Dr. Saafan Amer, a Spanish language instructor at the Faculty of Languages, has won an international research award for his doctoral thesis on linguistic structures and lexical collocations between Arabic and Spanish from the Complutense University of Madrid (Universidad Complutense de Madrid).
This achievement was made in collaboration with the scientific journal Paremias (the top scientific journal in Spain and the second worldwide in this field of studies and research) and the Spanish Cultural Center.
