The student research projects spanned several departments: Pharmaceutics, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Pharmacology. These projects highlighted significant research points across various fields of pharmacy and received acclaim from the attendees for the students' impressive presentation skills, discussion of new and valuable research ideas, and the alignment of the graduation projects' outcomes with industrial needs. Additionally, these projects aimed to create new research ideas aligned with Egypt's Vision 2030 sustainable development goals.
The best project, as evaluated by the attendees, was presented by the Pharmacology Department, titled "AI-Driven Approach to Enable Personalized Medicine in Cancer Patients." This project was conducted by students Engy Emad El-Din and Younis Tarek, supervised by Dr. Radwa Makki, Lecturer in the Pharmacology Department, in collaboration with Professor Imam Wakid, a liver disease specialist at the National Liver Institute and a member of the National Committee for Virus Control.
Moreover, representatives from the pharmaceutical industry were honored by Professor Hanan El-Leithy, Dean of the Faculty, as a gesture of appreciation for their continuous support and contribution to the educational process. Honorees included AstraZeneca, Helion, Roche, Eva Pharma, Eva Cosmetics, Global Napi, Hikma, EIPICO, Compass Academy, Tetra Pharma, L'Oreal, Joviality, Kobri El Qobba Military Hospital, Baheya Hospital, El Ezaby Pharmacies, Misr Pharmacies, and Seif Pharmacies.
