The Role of Women in Facing the Negative Effects of Climate Change

Within the framework of enriching students’ skills and linking academic knowledge with social issues and problems,,,

 

14 students from the Faculty of Biotechnology at MSA University attended the workshop organized by the National Committee for Women in Science and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology in partnership with the National Council for Women and the National Research Center under the title "The Role of Women in Facing the Negative Effects of Climate Change" which discussed the following topics: the negative effects of climate changes on health aspects, the green economy as a mean of facing climate changes and the environmental effects of climate changes,

 

This is under the supervision of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Saqr - President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Dr. Maya Morsi - President of the National Council for Women and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hashem - President of the National Research Center, in the presence of Dr. Manal Awad - Governor of Damietta and Prof. Dr. Gina Elfeki - Supervisor of the Scientific and Cultural Relations Sector at the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and Prof. Dr. Jihan Safwat - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Chairman of the Committee.
